The Tama Herald, Tama, IA, 14 Jul 1904, pg 5, col 3: "Neva, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Culbertson, died Tuesday at Wessington, South Dakota, aged twenty months, of disease of the nervous system. The body was brought to this city, arriving early this morning, and the funeral was held at 10 o'clock this forenoon from the home of Mrs. Culberston's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Balliet, Rev. J.R.A. Hamer officiating. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery."
