Freda Elizabeth Glasford, 81, formerly of 4202 SE Sholl Court, died Sunday, March 31, 1996, at her daughter's home in Edelstein.

Born Sept. 20, 1914, in Peoria County to Edward and Tena Derges Willms, she married Samuel A. Glasford on Dec. 1, 1937, in Bartonville. He died May 6, 1988, in Peoria.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Edith) Peugh of Edelstein, Mrs. Frank (Juanita) Bellavia of St. Charles and Mrs. Warren (Alice) Johnson of Prince George, Va.; and two sisters, Mildred Rose of Bartonville and Martena Haller of Peoria.

She also sewed for the Lutheran World Relief and was a former Sunday school teacher for many years.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford.
