Patricia Ann Walters Aughtman, born December 2, 1948 in Mobile, AL, went to her eternal home on Friday, May 22, 2020, following an extended illness.
She was a resident of Opp for 42 years. She worked for the City of Opp until 1988 when she joined her husband on their grand adventures as a truck driving team. After retirement she enjoyed participating in several ministries at Westview Baptist Church, playing dominoes and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl Lindley & Keith of Enterprise; sisters, Deborah Walker and Diane Jordan & husband, Ronnie all of Opp: grandchildren, Christopher Lindley & wife, Hannah and Nickolas Lindley & wife, Jillian all of Enterprise; great-grandson, Andrew Lindley; and numerous nieces & nephews, extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Earl Aughtman; son, Rodney Comer Aughtman; parents Betty & Lloyd Kelley; and brother-in-law, Ronald Walker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Aughtman will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Cotton Cemetery of Escambia Farms, FL. Bro Gary Miller and Bro Larry Jackson will be officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church sewing ministry.
The family will be receiving guests at the family residence in Opp.
