Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 74-021264, for Greenwood, Johnson County, records that Gene A. Spurlin, a 26 year old white male, manager of a restaurant, and married to Wilma Callon, died about 1:00 a.m. at the scene of a car-truck accident on U.S. 31 South, in Greenwood. He was the son of Eugene Alvin Spurlin, and Wilma Schultz, birthplaces not noted. The informant was his wife, Wilma. He was buried on June 21, 1974 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Johnson County in the mausoleum. Vandivier-Parsley were the funeral directors.
