Peter D. Marino, of Waterbury, passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at Glendale Center in Naugatuck, Connecticut.

Peter was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 14, 1942, son of the late Peter D. and Avis (Rogers) Marino. He graduated from Crosby High School class of 1960, then earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Concord College in West Virginia and later attended graduate school at Quinnipiac in Hamden. He was a certified public accountant with his own company, Peter Marino, CPA from 1971 until 2010 when he retired. He continued to serve his friends and relatives with their accounting needs until he passed away. He enjoyed golfing with his friends and collecting model cars and boats. Peter was truly an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Peter is survived by: two sons, Peter D. Marino Jr., of Watertown; and Jeffery S. Marino, of Lubbock, TX; a daughter, Monica Marino, of Watertown; three grandchildren: Celina, Sophia and Santino Soto; a great-grandson, Austin Moreno; his former wife, Annette Marino, of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews. He was the companion of Joy Winterhalder with whom he lived. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Marino and a sister, Diane McDermott.

Arrangements: Calling hours with Peter’s cremains present will be held Thursday March 21, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
