W. H. Adams died Sunday, July 27, 1919 at 2:15 am at the residence, 1309 South Eleventh street, of bronchial pneumonia, aged 78 years, 8 months and 22 days. Funeral Tuesday at 2:30 pm from the residence.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Elizabeth L., and five children, Miss Marion, Mrs. Effie Kerst, Frank, Will and Nelson. He was born in New York. He has been a resident of Springfield for the past forty two years and was a member of the Grand Army, Odd Fellows lodge No. 6 and Modern Woodmen cap No. 1418.
