VETERAN: REVOLUTIONARY WAR - CONN MIL
Age 66 years 24 days
Son of Oliver and Ruth Teall
Husband of Phebe Hull Teall.
Six known children

Cemetery records have Timothy and family members as "Teall", military tombstone appears to be "Teal".

Note - Email from a descendent: "I do know that Timothy was captured during the revolutionary war and spent time on a prison ship in New York harbor and that he fought during the Lexington Alarm from the city of Killingworth Conn. He also was a sea men on the ship Oliver Cromwell in 1777. Timothy had 5 other brothers that all fought in the war with 2 of them being at Valley Forge. Their father, Oliver Teall was a Dr. in A British Regiment having been in the British army since the French and Indian war".

Note: A double stone for Timothy and his wife Phebe, is immediately behind Timothy's military stone. Their stone has fallen over and is partly covered by pine needles and debris. They are adjacent to a large tree - it's growth may have been the cause of the stone toppling over.

Note 2: Dry Hill Burial Ground (originally named Breed Dry Hill Cemetery), located near the cemetery where Timothy and Phebe are buried, has this burial: "Amelia, wife of Elder Allen Breed, 1782-Apr 5 1839 in her 57th year". The person who indexed the cemetery was a local historian and noted that Amelia was "believed to be daughter of Timothy Teall". Her marker can be found at this link. Have linked her to Tim and Phoebe, based on historian's input.
