Miss Eleanor L. Bishop, 70 years old, died at 7:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sylvanus Clark, of 348 Houghton street, after an attack of pneumonia which became serious about one week ago. Miss Bishop was a native of Readsboro, a daughter of one of the oldest families in the Deerfield valley. She came here 30 years ago to make her home with her sister, and had lived here ever since, making many friends in her quiet way. She leaves an adopted daughter, Mary, who also lives with Mrs. Clark. The funeral will be held at the house tomorrow evening at 7:30 o'clock, Rev. G. W. Colson officiating, and the body will be taken on the 9:50 train Wednesday morning to Wilmington, Vt., for burial.
