Audrey Lou Burke, born January 19, 1924 in Glover, married Vestal Burke on February 3, 1940 and lived half her life in McCurtain County and lived in McKinleyville, CA over fourty years.
Audrey loved to sew, style hair, loved her family and loved her Lord. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Audrey was preceded in death by her mother and father; one son, Jimmy Dale Burke and one daughter, Becky Dian Burke.
Audrey leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of sixty-seven years, Vestal Burke of the home; two daughters, Myrl Virginia Kemp and husband Samuel of San Antonio, TX, Linda Darlene Morrow and husband Bill of Eureka, CA; eight grandchildren, Rick Kemp, Randy Kemp, Rhonda Schoolcraft, Darla Poe, Jeff Burke, Joseph Burke, Robb Morrow, Jason Morrow; ten great-grandchildren, Evan Schoolcraft, Zachary Schoolcraft, Dustin Kemp, Virginia Kemp, Sabastian Burke, Steeva Burke, John David Poe, Trent Morrow, Kelsey Morrow, Blair Morrow; one step great-grandson, John Fife; two brothers, David Perry, Mckinleyville, CA and J. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2007 at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Hochatown Cemetery, Hochatown, Oklahoma.
