Robin E. Avens, age 56, of Sweetwater Tn, was born on April 2nd, 1964. She entered into eternal rest on May 16th, 2020 at UT Medical Center of Knoxville. Robin brought so much joy to so many lives. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She sewed for many years at Sweetwater Hosiery Mill and loved doing it. She turned her life over to Christ at an early age and was a life time member of Burls Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Sweetwater, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband Ricky Avens, her father: Raymond Hicks, mother: Naomi Hicks, and sister Kathy Inman. She will be forever missed by her son Justin Leonard, daughter in law Shannon and her daughter Rachel Leonard, Son in law Patrick Cannon. Step- children Jamie Paul and Tabitha Avens. Grandchildren Sadie Cannon and Easton Cannon , Lexie Howell, Matt Spencer, Colton Howell. Allie, Maddie and Trevor Paul. Shaye Avens and Kimora Smith.Great grandchildren Jeremiah Spencer. Sisters Charlotte Hicks and Debbie and Phil Human. A very special friend Jerry Belcher. Nieces Jessie Grazzolin and Savannah Human. Nephew Will Blankenship. A host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with a celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel. Interment to follow in the Sweetwater Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for final expenses.
