Services are 2 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson with burial in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee.
A native of Scott County, he had lived in Clinton for the past 16 years. Prior to that he had lived in Tupelo. He was a retired manager of operations having worked for Mississippi Valley Gas Company.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Noel was a Mason and a Shriner. He was also an avid golfer. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church in Tupelo.
Mr. Noel is survived by his wife, Hazel W. Noel of Clinton; sons and daughters-in-law, John Paul and Jennifer Noel of Saltillo, Mark Daniel and Heidi Noel of Oakhaver, WA; sister and brother-in-law, Dahlia and Phil Hunt of Madison; two grandchildren, Carley Elizabeth Noel and Jack Noel.
