WILSON E. "BUCK" LITTLEFORD Tucson, AZ -- Buck Littleford, 85, passed away at El Dorado Hospital on Sunday, April 9, 2006. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth LaVerne (Schmidt) Littleford and son of the late Grayson E. and Helton G. (Windsor) Littleford. Born in Ritchie, Prince George's, Maryland, he was a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, Maryland. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving primarily with the 76th Division in Europe from 1941 to 1945. Mr. Littleford lived 24 years in Tucson. He was employed by Western Electric for 40 years until retiring in 1982. Subsequently, Mr. Littleford devoted much of his time to golf. His interest in sports was lifelong. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Joyce Anne Potkay of Germantown, Maryland and Patricia Anne Matthews of Stafford, Virginia; two sisters, Edith M. Bladen of Rockville, Maryland and Dorothy A. Weakley of Luray, Virginia; Five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
