James L. Altman Sr., 73, 41529 Charm Lake Drive, Umatilla, died Monday, June 28. Mr. Altman was a landscaper for Altman Sod & Landscaping. He was also a citrus grower. Born in Johnsonville, S.C., he moved to Umatilla from Holly Hill in 1979. He was a Baptist. He was a past exalted ruler of the Daytona Beach Elks Lodge. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: wife, Mary A., sons, James L. Jr., Maxie Adam, all of Umatilla; daughters, Mary L. Miller, Ormond Beach, Cindy Wood, South Daytona, Anna, Umatilla; brothers, T.
