Iretta R. "Puddles" Atkinson
Iretta R. "Puddles" Atkinson, 58, of Lancaster, died at Mercy Health Center-St. Joseph's Unit, in Dubuque, Iowa, on Wednesday, September 30, 1992.
She was born on July 8, 1934, in Blue River, the daughter of Irvin T. and Lillian I. Lange. Mrs. Atkinson, a homemaker, was presently employed at Town and Country Liquor in Lancaster.
On June 15, 1957, she was united in marriage to Clinton Atkinson at St. John's Church in Muscoda.
Mrs. Atkinson was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church and the church choir.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Kevin (Julie) of Cuba City, Rick and Brett, both of Lancaster; two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Geneva (husband Merrill) Troxel of Muscoda; as well as nieces and nephews.
Services were held by the O'Rourke-Schwartz Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3, at the St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster, with the Rev. Tom Baxter officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
