Joe Camren, 80 years old, was fatally injured Saturday morning when struck by an automobile as he was walking across the highway bridge over Crooked Creek into Lutesville. Dr. J.J. Myers, coroner, was called and said Mr. Camren was killed instantly.
Mr. Camren is survived by five children, all residing in Oregon; one brother, Ernest of Grassy, MO; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Greer and Mrs. Walter Sitze of Cape Girardeau, MO.
Services were Sunday in Hurricane Fork Church, conducted by Rev. James Trentham. Burial in the church cemetery, with Baker service.
