Mrs. Jessie Mae Lux, 81, Burlington, Ia., a former Sioux Cityan, died Tuesday night at a Burlington nursing home. Mrs. Lux was born May 6, 1881, in Rapid City, Ill., and she came to Sioux City in 1910. She lived here until 1958 when she went to Burlington to live with a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Velma) Gustafson. She married Warren A. Lux May 14, 1902, in Dubuque. Mrs. Lux was a member of Riverside Methodist church and the Silver Leaf chapter 548, O. E. S. Survivors include the widower; a son, Donald A., Aurora, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Gustafson of Burlington and Mrs. William (Derys) Lyle of Fort Benton, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Lucille) Erickson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. H. T. (Cora) Johnston of Topeka, Kan.; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hopkinton, Ia., and burial will be in a Hopkinton cemetery.
