Michael K. Kelly, 70, of Havana, died at 10:22 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008 at OSF-St. Francis in Peoria. He was born May 16, 1937 in Havana, IL to Edward and Velma (Caulkins) Kelly. He married Sonia Grace Jarvis at Homerton, London, England on March 16, 1957.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife Sonia of Havana, three daughters: Sandra M. Aehle of Pacific, MO, Christine Kaye Befort of Phoenix, AZ, Patricia A. Luera of Brunswick, GA and one son: Michael W. Kelly of Gallatin, TN, 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is his sister, Mae Richardson of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.

Mr. Kelly was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. He was a life member of VFW Post # 6408 in Havana, a member of the Air Force Sergeant’s Association, and the American Legion. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the USAF serving from 1954 until 1975.
