Laura "Bot" Silver, age 82 of Talking Rock, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Emory Midtown. Bot was born March 25, 1938 in Ball Ground, GA to Bascomb and Ruby Biddy.

She is survived by husband, Walter Dillard Silver; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn And Danny Childers of Talking Rock, Janet Silver, of Cumming; brother, Herman Biddy, of Ball Ground; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Biddy, of Ball Ground, Cleo Silvers, of Nelson, Betty Silvers of Jasper; grandchildren, Lauren And Chris Saxon, of Canton, Dakota and Stephen Richards, of Jasper, Dillon and Sydney Horton, of Dawsonville, Cassidy Dover, of Dawsonville; great-grandchildren, Evan Saxon, Noah Saxon, Jordan Richards, Carter Dover, Calion Dover, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Phillips and Rev. Greg Long officiating. The interment will follow in the Ball Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Monday, May 18, 2020 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Due to Covid-19 we ask that the community bear with us here at Roper Funeral Home as we deal with the guidelines and restrictions that have been set as to how many people we can have in the funeral home at one time.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
