Mrs. Black was born in Montgomery county, in 1841, and came to Springfield thirty years ago and has lived here ever since. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church, and is survived by one brother, the Rev. C. E. Cline, of Portland, Ore., and one grandson, Kern Underwood, who is employed in this city by the Inter State Telephone company. The funeral will be held Tuesday from the late residence. Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
