Edward J. Wieland, 83, a longtime West Seneca businessman, died Saturday (April 16, 1994) in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. The Buffalo native owned and operated three Wieland's Automotive Service Centers in West Seneca from 1949 to 1986 and was a member of the board of directors of Wholesale Auto Parts.
He was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society and a former member of the South Buffalo Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Anne H.; a son, Paul R. of the Town of Boston; a daughter, Annemarie Jason; three sisters, Madeline Rindos of Florida, Ladama Gauthier of the Town of Holland and Ethel Pollutro of West Seneca; and three grandchildren. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hamburg.
