Mrs. Brown was a longtime resident of Bolton, daughter of Walter and Iva Gearhart. She was a Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a retired bookkeeper from the Hinds County School Board. She was a member of the Bolton Methodist Church and Crossroads of Life Church and attended Day Springs Community Church.
Mrs. Brown devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Bill Brown and wife Mary of Clinton; daughters Lynda D'Angelo and husband Tony of Waco, TX; Raye Alford of Diamondhead; Marianna Bullard and husband Larry of Shreveport, LA; Edna Ammons of Clinton; and Barbara Fowler of Brandon; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
