JOSIAH TILSON (John5, John4, Edmund3, Ephraim2, Edmond1) son of John & Mercy (Sturtevant) Tilson, b. Aug. 12, 1767, m. Aug. 30, 1790 [1789] Hannah Sturtevant of Turner, Me. She was b. in Halifax, Ma., Dec. 2, 1768, dau of William & Joanna (Waterman) Sturtevant. She d. Oct. 18, 1837. They settled in the north part of Hartford, Me.

...Josiah Tilson m. 2nd Mrs. Martha (Towle) Barrows-Millett of Hartford, Me., April 18, 1846. She d. April 4, 1847, age 79. He d. in Sumner, Me., March, 1857.

Note: Josiah was at Canton in 1830; it may be that Hannah d. there. Her stone states "Sacred to the Memory of", so this stone was placed prob years later. She may have died at Peru though; I don't know why it was placed at this cemetery.
