Daughter of William A. Jackson (buried on the Clearwater River in British Columbia, Canada) and Jennie E. (Illingworth) Jackson Minkler/Perry Illingworth Juhrs Brown, sister of Anna (Jackson) Lesley, Charles Elroy Jackson, and Viola (Jackson) Anderson.

Married her mother's brother, Frank Illingworth, and had 4 sons - Clifford, Emmet, George, and Chester Illingworth; died of TB at the age of 30 years while helping to take care of others who also had TB. Buried in an unmarked grave in the Powell Butte, Crook County, Oregon area.

Pam R. (this FAG contributor):
"I am the great great niece of Daisy. I remember my grandparents, Arch & Manilla (Lesley) Jones, (who lived in Prineville, Crook, Oregon) taking me to Powell Butte in the 1950s and they were looking for Daisy's grave. We wandered through the sage brush in what I believe was a makeshift cemetery prior to Powell Butte Cemetery aka Pilgrims Rest Cemetery being established. I also visited Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in the 1970s or 1980s with my aunt Virginia (Jones) Ramsay and uncle Kieth Ramsay (who lived in Bend) searching for her grave in Pilgrims Rest but we did not find it. There are earlier burials in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery as indicated by the death dates on some of the headstones so she may have been buried with these same people."
