Mae "Gramma Goodie" Osborne, 66
Mae Olive Osborne, more affectionately known as "Gramma Goodie" passed away Wednesday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Butte, December 31, 1926 to Alex and Emily (Blixt) Peterson. She attended local schools including Webster and graduated from Butte High School in 1944.
She married Chuck Osborne in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 1946 and he preceded her in death in July of 1969.
Also preceding her in death are her father, Alex Peterson, her mother and stepfather, Emily and Ole Aniksdal, a brother Vern Peterson and a sister, June Mack.
Mae is survived by her sons, and daughters-in-law: Jim and Sandy Osborne, Bill and Maureen Osborne, Charlie and Corinne Osborne all of Butte, daughter, Pattie Osborne of Kingston, Idaho and grandchildren: Abby, Zachary, Kyle and Lanse Osborne, Dave and Luke Blaskovich, Chad and Jason Martin and Jennifer, Jessica and brothers-in-law: Ruth and Bern Dennehy of Butte and Evelyn and Don Branyord of Butte.
Mae worked as a clear at Pay and Save and later worked many years at Buttrey Foods.
Mrs. Osborne's remains are in the Wayrynen - Richards Funeral Home. There will be no wake or visitation; however, friends are asked to join her family in funeral services Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with the Pastor Phil Wold officiating.
Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
