Funeral services were held for Marijane Vaden, age six months and twenty days, infant daughter of Mr. &. Mrs. Virgil Vaden, Sunday afternoon at five o'clock at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. C.W. Hollis with Rev. J.F. Petty officating assisted by Rev. C.B. Bass. Burial was in Kirbyville Cemetery with Stringer Undertaking Co. in charge. Death occurred at 1 a.m. Sunday at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. C.W. Hollis. The infant had been undergoing treatment from a specialist in Beaumont for some time.
Survivors beside the parents are two brothers, Kenneth and Alvie Cecil Vaden, grandmother Mrs. C.W. Hollis, and grandfather Rev. William Vaden whose home is in Houston County but is residing in Tennessee at the present. A number of uncles and aunts also survive.
