Kay Wong Ling Friml March 16, 1913 - August 9, 2007 Passed away at home on Aug. 9, 2007. She was the loving wife of the late composer, Rudolf Friml. She was an independent, vibrant, inspirational, an extremely fun-loving person, and full of laughter. She had a zest for life and loved her family. She was adventurous and always willing to try different things. Kay was classy, modest, and a very humble person. Everything she did was done with overwhelming generosity because of her big heart. She was loved and will be greatly missed by many. Kay came from a family of seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving sister, Mary, and brother-in-law, Ralph Chan; 14 nieces and nephews; and many friends. Kay Friml will be resting next to her husband Rudolf Friml in the Memorial Court of Honor at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, CA.
