Lee (Dona Jo), Rebecca and Gary (Melissa) Braun. Grandchildren, Mathew, Michael (Gloria), Melissa (Kevin), Derek, Grace and Colton; Great-Grandchildren, Gage, Kevin and Kenny; Step-grandchildren, Lindsey, Skye and Summer. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Sheryl Hayford and Nancy Blomberg and a brother, David Eikenberry.She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Kenny on Christmas Day 2017.
Cynthia was a switchboard operator at the telephone company and also worked at the Le Sueur Creamery for a short time. She then was employed as a secretary at Green Giant and Pillsbury in the Quality Assurance Department, and later Administrative Assistant, in Minneapolis, MN.
Cynthia was very active in the church. She started playing organ at the age of twelve at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. After marrying Kenneth she became a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur, and played organ for over forty years. She was also a piano accompanist and an accomplished singer. Cynthia was very active in attending various bible studies. She was also a member of Eastern Star for many years.
Cynthia and Kenneth enjoyed playing cards in an active card club where they enjoyed the community of close friends. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry as well as board games, Yahtzee and crossword puzzles.
As a result of the COVID 19 pandemic, family graveside services will take place in the Dresselville Cemetery on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Memorials and cards may be sent to the Braun family at 28391 Lexington Road, LeSueur, Minnesota 56058
