William Benton Henderson was the son of Solon Henderson and Caldona Harrison. The fourth of six children, he married Myrtle Ola Palmer around 1909 and they proceeded to have 6 children of their own. He and Myrtle moved around a bit. In 1910, they were living in Atascosa County, Texas where he was a grocer. By 1930 he was a City Police Officer in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. It was in Bexar County that he died on 6 July 1963.
