Frank C. Funda of 109 1/2 Paul Ave. died yesterday at his home after a long illness. He was a native of Syracuse and a former fireman for the City of Syracuse for 20 years. He retired in 1935.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wilhelmina Funda; a son, Francis J. Funda; a grandson, Frederick J. Funda; two sisters, Mrs. Harold King and Mrs. Frank Sallen; a brother, Lewis T. Funda and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Goddard & Crandall Funeral Home, 3111 James St., and at 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
