Ripley, MS - Shelia Karen Bullock Lawson, 64, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on October 2, 1955, to James Gaston and Ouida Childers Bullock in Ripley, MS. Shelia was co-owner of Dumas Furniture, Inc. for 35 years. A member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she was the Piano Player until her health declined. She loved her family and loved flowers and working in her flower garden.
Shelia is survived by her husband: Danny Lawson of Ripley, MS; one daughter: Courtney Lawson Brown (Kenneth) of Dumas, MS; two sons: Bradley Lawson and Richard Lawson both of Dumas, MS; one sister: Rhonda Reno (Jerry) of Ripley, MS; one brother: Raiford Bullock (Elaine) of Ripley, MS; ten grandchildren: Ridge Lawson, Ryder Lawson, Daniel Lawson, Ryan Lawson, Garrett Brown, Ashley Leopard, Kelsey Sowell, Allie Lawson, Anna Lawson, Piper Lawson; three great-grandchildren: Madi, Nolan, Maren.
A private family graveside service will be held in honor of her life on Monday, May 11, 2020, with Bro. Cody Matlock officiating. Burial will be at Fellowship Church Cemetery.
