She enjoyed working the evening shift. She also enjoyed exercise, walking, reading and had played the piano since the age of seven. Dr. Shaw was known for her compassion for people and animals. She was an advocate for Vidalia’s animal rescue group, SOAPS, and dearly loved her ten pet cats. Dr. Shaw also loved her patients and nursing family at Meadows Regional Medical Center. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. At a date to be announced, Meadows will host a memorial service in her honor. Donations may be made in her memory to SOAPS, P.O.
