Lula Walker Wilson,94,North Vernon,Ind.,formerly of Somerset,died Tuesday,Sept. 10,2002,at her residence. She was born in the Cains Store community Aug. 19,1908,daughter of the late Enoch and Colotha (Roy)Pittman. She was retired from the grocery and restaurant business,and was a member of Old Fashion Faith Baptist Church of Somerset.

Survivors include two sons:Byron Eugene Walker of Ohio, and Ira J. Walker of Butlerville,Ind.;two daughters,Vivian Faye Foster of the Beech Grove community, and Gwen Morgan of Stanford;11 grandchildren;21 great-grandchildren;and 15 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands;Byron Walker and Killis Wilson;her parents;three brothers:Chester,Nola and Ira Pittman:and three sisters,Ida Tucker,Lillie Spalding and Rhoda Turpin.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday,Sept. 14,at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home,with the Rev. Butch Woodell officiating. Burial will be in Valley Oak Cemetery in Casey County.
