Born on December 31, 1936 to Frank Sr. and Mary Hurst Kurosky in Fort Worth, TX.

Marion grew up on the Northside on Pearl Avenue just around the corner of the Fort Worth Stockyards.

His father's parents were Polish Immigrants.

The city of Hurst, Texas was named after his great grandfather.

Marion had two siblings - Frank Kurosky Jr. and Delores Ann Kurosky.

Marion married Betty Lou Powell also from the Northside and together they had three children - David Eric Kurosky, Delores Ann Kurosky and Michael Kurosky.

Marion had three grandchildren - Andrew David Kurosky, William Michael Kurosky and Paige Aleice Kurosky from his son Michael and step grand-daughter Stefanie Jeffress from son David and daughter-in-law Lisa Jeffress Kurosky.

As a young man, Marion was well know as a sharp dresser.

Always dressed to a "T" without a hair out of place, a shine on his shoes and a wax on his car.

He loved to play cards and dominoes and was especially fond of the card game "Spoons".

He was well known for knocking other people completely out of their chair fighting for the spoon.

Marion also love music and film and was very eclectic in his music and film choices.

He had a very large vinyl, cd and dvd collection.

With music he loved everything from vintage and classic rock to soul, blues, r&b to vintage country and outlaw country.

He was especially fond of Fat's Domino, Hank Ballard and The Midnighters, Big Joe Turner, Laverne Baker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robin Trowner, ZZ Top, and Eric Clapton.

Film wise he loved the gangster films he grew up with like Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson and he was especially fond of the Dead End Kids but he also loved horror films and westerns.

Marion also loved to spend time at the lake and his favorites were Casino Beach at Lake Worth and Burger's Lake in River Oaks.

Some of Marion's best friends were Bobby Lee #27528871, Kenneth Lucas, William "Dub" Lovelace #145134671, Charlie and Carolyn Crow, Bobby Rose #120870625, Clarence Rose #43455584 and Arvin "Bud" Gardner.

He was especially close to his cousin Raymond "Bud" Bryant on his mother's side as well as his grandmother Hattie #12323018 and his aunt Wilnetta #108557829.

On his father's side his favorite uncle was Bill #7017889 and his favorite aunt was Minnie #109038433.

Some of his favorite clubs were the Stagecoach and Annie Golightly's #86206215 both on Belknap St.

He loved to eat hamburgers at Griff's on Belknap St., he loved Furr's Cafeteria (especially the butter chess pie) and Taco Bell.

Marion was a practical joker and loved to play jokes and tease people.

He was well loved by everyone and never knew a stranger.

Marion was extremely close to his mother and took care of her after his father died.

He refused to place her in a nursing home and took care of her at home until her passing.

He was a very good son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Marion passed away just one week from his 81st Birthday due to complications from Dementia with his wife Betty and son Michael by his side.

He is greatly missed.
