Cabot, Arkansas-Myrtis Lea Adam, 92, passed away, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Greystone Rehab Center in Cabot, Ark. She was born June 21, 1924, the daughter of Clifton and Tera Wilson Lea.
She worked for many years at Leader Federal Bank as a personal assistant to the president. After her retirement, she and her husband Leo, enjoyed many years of traveling. When Myrtis was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Tupelo she enjoyed quilting with the women's ministry. She also loved playing card games and bunko with her friends in Cabot Myrtis was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Services will be 10 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. David McKaine officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her children, Laron Adam and Janet Self (Ricky); two grandchildren, Bryant Self (Lauren) and Jeremy Self; and two great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Self and Bryant Adam Self, II.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 60 years, Leo Mathias Adam and 2 sisters, Elsie Chapman and Betty Gallagher.
