PARKLAND, FL - Paul “Eddie” Gennings, 50, of Parkland, formerly of Jonesboro, died at Coral Springs, FL, on Wednesday, December 28.
Eddie was born in Jonesboro and graduated in 1973 from Jonesboro High School, where he was a 3-sport athlete. He also attended Arkansas State University.
Survivors include his son, Paul Edward Gennings of Parkland; a daughter, Holly Gennings of Parkland; his parents, Marlin and Ardelle Gennings of Jonesboro; two brothers, Grady Gennings of Memphis and John Gennings of Pineville, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro with the Rev. Bruce Tippit officiating. Burial will be private. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
No visitation is planned.
