Glenna was born the daughter of Charley and Verna Hardy in Tucson on Oct. 6, 1937. She graduated from Winslow High School. Later, she attended Eastern Arizona College, where she met the love of her life, a handsome blue-eyed soldier driving a fancy new ‘57 Volvo, Guy Scott. They were married April 10, 1958, in the Mesa LDS Temple for time and all eternity.

Glenna worked at Dorothy Stinson School as a Title One aide and loved teaching children. She and Guy served an LDS mission in Independence, Mo., at the historical church sites. She also served in many other callings in Relief Society, Young Women, Primary and scouting, and was always a beloved visiting teacher.

She was a loving mother to her own five children: Brian Scott (Karen), Cheryl Christensen (Cal), Brenda Ferrin (Kevin), Bret Scott (Tracie) and Shellie Carter (Nick). She was also Nonnie to 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
