EAST GALESBURG -- Rickey Leroy Clewell, 43, of East Galesburg died at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 1995, at his home.

Born Aug. 11, 1951, in Galesburg to Franklin L. and Grace L. Lufkin Clewell, he married Vickie Turner on June 18, 1976, in Galesburg. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents and three daughters, Melissa, Stacey and Christine Clewell, all of East Galesburg; and one brother, Steven of rural Knoxville.

He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1969. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a journeyman apprentice carpenter for Allied Construction Co. in Bettendorf, Iowa, and worked on the new First Midwest Bank in Galesburg during its construction.

He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Knoxville and East Galesburg Fire Department.

There will be no service or visitation. Arrangements are by Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of First Midwest Bank, 302 E. Main St., Galesburg.
