Paul was born May 3, 1922, in Downs, Illinois, to Harry and Daisy Deffenbaugh McDowell.
He is survived by his niece/caretaker, Dorothy Willis of Le Roy, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and one brother.
Paul was an Army Air Force veteran. He was a member of Local IUOE #649.
