"Laura Whitehurst Ansell, 96, died Nov. 9, 1991, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Ansell was born in Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Authur B. Ansell and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna Spence; two sons, Melvin A. Ansell and Curtis J. Ansell; and two sisters, Bernice Henley and Verna Harrell, all of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph Brewer. Friends may join the family at 5568 Buzzard Neck Road. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
