Mary Jane Estrick / Eastright was born in Allegheny Township, Huntingdon County, (became Blair County in 1846) Pennsylvania on October 30, 1830 to A-3, John Seigle and Mary Sarah Faushey Estrick / Eastright. In the 1840s, Mary's father changed the spelling of their last name from Estrick to Eastright. Mary worked for Ironmaster Elias Baker and his family. Mary married Isaac William Walton in Allegheny Township on April 1, 1847. He was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania on May 9, 1822 to William and Susannah Walton. When he was a little boy the family moved to Huntingdon County. Isaac worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and retired after 35 years. He fought in the Civil War as a private in Company A 205th Pennsylvania Infantry. In Altoona, Blair County, Pa Isaac built the first cement sidewalk in front of a jewelry store. Isaac died of a stroke on June 18, 1893. Mary Jane was living with her daughter Sara Sisler when she died on April 17, 1909. Mary and Isaac are buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Altoona, Pa. Isaac is laid to rest in Lot 163, Section B, permit #1200 and Mary is laid to rest in Lot 115, Section B, permit #3679. Mary and Isaac had nine children.
