Obituary: MAITE, Guam - Bernard R. Langevin, 48, of Maite, formerly of
North Grosvenordale, Conn., a restaurant manager, was stricken ill and
died Sunday at home. He leaves his wife, Mercy Langevin; three daughters,
Nannette Phillips of Medina, Ohio, Maria Theresa Langevin of Birmingham,
Ala., and Kathreen Lena Langevin of Johnson Island, Hawaii; a sister, Mary
L. Bartley of Thompson, Conn.; three grandchildren; nephews and nieces;
and his former wife, Terrisita (Infante) Langevin of Tumon, Guam. Born in
Putnam, Conn., son of Wilfred and F. Lena (Pompeo) Langevin, and lived
many years in North Grosvenordale and
many years in Guam. He graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School,
Thompson, in 1965. He was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, serving eight
years. Mr. Langevin was manager of a restaurant in Guam. A funeral
service will be held in Guam. Burial will be at the convenience of the
family. Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., North Grosvenordale, is
directing arrangements in Connecticut.
