Woodson, Texas - Dahlia Lee, 93, died Sunday Aug. 12, 2007.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles West and Josh Hagle officiating. Burial will be in the Woodson Cemetery, directed by Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

She was born on Feb. 10, 1914, in Throckmorton County, Texas, to parents Howard Miller and Elizabeth Williams Miller. She married Milton Lee on May 20, 1933, in Throckmorton.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. God often blesses a family with a very special gift. Nannie, as she was affectionately known, was that gift to her family.

In her lifetime, she touched many lives of family and friends with gifts of love, acceptance, spiritual support and friendship. She had the ability to listen as well as to meet the physical needs of those around her. She was in the true sense a homemaker and was involved in community affairs, PTA, and church activities. Probably her favorite church service was being in the nursery. She will always be remembered with fondness and love.

She is survived by: two daughters, Patsy Jones and husband, Babe of Woodson and Jean Brockman and husband, Thomas of Woodson; one son, Milton E. Lee and wife, Pat of Dickinson, Texas; eight grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to the donors favorite charity & may be left at the funeral home.
