Daughter of Jesse Marlin Gum and Susan (Parrott) Gum.
Married John Huddleston 23/Nov/1854 at Oregon Co., MO.

Died--at her home four miles from town on the Thomasville road, Monday June 8, at 10 a.m. Mrs. Nancy Huddleston, nee Gum., consort to John Huddleston, of smallpox. The remains were laid to rest on their farm. Mrs. Huddleston was about 70 years old. An obituary will be published in our next issue.

Mrs. Nancy Huddleston, wife of John Huddleston, died of small-pox Monday at 10 o'clock a.m. and was buried at the family grave yard Tuesday.
Mrs. Huddleston was one of the pioneers of Oregon County.
She was a sister to Benj. Gum and Mrs. James Brown.
