Anita Bedell (Vincent) Blanco
Passed away Feb 23, 2007 at St Joseph's Hospital, Tampa, FL.
She was born in Newton, MA April 23, 1927, and was the daughter of William & Sarah Vincent of Needham, MA both deceased.
Her beloved husband Rafael Blanco deAndreis, preceded her in death, as well as her sister Sarah Brogna. She is survived by 7 children, Rafael W. Blanco & wife, Maruchi Azorin-Blanco, Alfonso J. Blanco & wife, Martha Luz Blanco, Sara Cruz Blanco Dubbeld, Ana J. Blanco Trinque & husband, Arthur J. Trinque III, Marco A. Blanco & wife, Brigid L. Blanco, Jacqueline Blanco-Khurana & husband, Virendra K. Khurana, & Robert A. Blanco & wife, Kelley M. Blanco. She was a proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Dubbeld, Ryan Trinque, Caroline Blanco, Adam Trinque, Jon Dubbeld, Andrew Blanco, Juan Carlos Blanco, Krishen Khurana, Andres Blanco & Roman Blanco.
Anita grew up in Needham, MA & was a proud graduate of the class of 1945 from Needham High School. She continued her education at Colby College in Maine. She married Rafael in Barranquilla, Colombia, So America, where they lived for 13 years, and returned to the U.S., settling in St. Petersburg, FL in 1967. Anita was a classically trained pianist, devoted artist & enthusiast of the classical arts. With husband, Rafael, Anita was co-founder of Le Blanc Linen Wash & remained active in the company as President & Chief Executive Officer. Anita will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug 18, 2007 at 12 PM at the Congregational Church in Wilmington, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Joseph's Hospital Foundation's Heart Program, 2700 W. MLK Blvd, Suite 310, Tampa, FL 33607.
