Rena Mae (Willis) Turner was born December 21, 1937, in Floydada, Texas to Henry Lee and Nina June (Battey) Willis. She passed away on April 7, 2020, with her family by her side at her home in Duncan, OK. She was 82.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Rena was a 1956 graduate of Floydada High School. She married the love of her life, Nolan Francis Turner, on March 22, 1958, in Floydada. They raised three children - Angie, Brett and Tana. She dearly loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed gardening and oil painting. Decorating her home was a passion. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West and taught second grade Sunday school at FBC Floydada for over 20 years.
Rena is survived by her loving husband, Nolan; children: Angie and husband Rick Covington, Brett and wife Alicia Turner, Tana and husband Corey Bates; grandchildren: Kary and wife Maisey Covington, Casey and wife Kristina Covington, Colby and wife Katie Turner, Tyson Turner, Braxton Turner, Carson Turner, Bryson Bates, Brennan Bates; great grandchildren: Ansley Covington, Asher Covington, Kutter Covington, Taygan Turner, Sutton Turner, Madelyn Turner; and sister, Nadine Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Willis.
