She was a homemaker, a beautician and a real estate agent. She enjoyed playing card games but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Houston P. "Hootie" Myers; two brothers, Ray and Glynn Hysinger; and a sister, Ruby Hilton.
She is survived by her daughter, Norma Jo Johnston (Ken); two granddaughters, Lauren Corley (Tim); Dana McCreight (Brian); four great grandchildren, Zoe and Eva Corley, Kensley and Anderson McCreight; a sister, Nola Lausman; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has been chosen with burial Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
