Funeral services for Mrs. Tammy Taylor Holder, 42, of Cotton Valley, will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Unity Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Cecil Marr officiating. Burial will follow at Cotton Valley Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Cotton Valley.
Visitation was held from 5 until 9 p.m., Sunday, March 4, at Bailey Mortuary, Springhill.
Mrs. Holder, a lifelong resident of this area, died Friday night, March 2, at her residence after a brief illness. She was employed with Town and Country Nursing Home for 11 years and had served as Director of Nurses the past five years and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Sammie Holder of Cotton Valley; sons, Timothy Billups and wife Samantha of Sarepta and Christopher Holder of Minden; her mother, Linda Taylor of Cotton Valley; brothers, Tony Taylor of Sarepta and David Taylor of Cotton Valley; and sister, Katherine Taylor, of Springhill.
She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
