VIVIAN BERNICE LAUE, age 94, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Wesley Hafner officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5 7 PM Monday Oct. 13 at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comShe was born September 9, 1920, at Randolph, NE, the daughter of Oscar and Bessie (Collier) Coulter. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1937. On April 18, 1954 she married Cord William Arthur Laue at St Paul Lutheran in Blue Earth.She was active for years with the ladies aide at the church, the senior center in Blue Earth, and enjoyed traveling to watch her beloved Minnesota Twins with family every summer.She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Paul of Blue Earth, daughter, Kathy (Alan "Oop") Johnson of Delavan, grandson, Eric Paul of Portland, OR, granddaughter, Andrea Johnson of Waconia, granddaughter, Krista (Jason Appel) Johnson of Mapleton, granddaughter, Alicia Johnson of Brookings, SD, great grandson, Marley Paul, great granddaughter, Emma Appel.She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, Evelyn Meyer, and her parents.
