While at work at the Keystone Pretzel Bakery, No. 532 East Mifflin street, on Friday afternoon John Shaffer died suddenly from the effect of heart troubles. Deceased was in his thirty-third year and he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Shaffer, of 618 South Queen street. Mr. Shaffer was a member of Grace United Evangelical Church. He is survived by his parents, his wife and two children, Harry and John. There are also two brothers and two sisters, as follows: Mrs. Daniel Geltmacher, of Newtown; Norman, Mrs. Conrad Keesey and Amos, of Lancaster.
