She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam S. Splann; daughter, Peggy J. Young; granddaughter, Dawn L. Brown Trippett; great-grandson, Christian Trippett and fourteen siblings.

She leaves behind her son, Sammy L. Splann and wife Connie of Nacogdoches; brother, Jim Brooks of Corinth, Ms.; granddaughters, Pamela Brown, Denise Padgett and husband Gene of Moffat, Texas, Kristi Blankenship and husband Glenn of Alabama; grandson, Kyle Splann and wife Marcie of Nacogdoches; great-grandchildren, Bradley Lough, Brandon Trippett, Charlene Atkins, Mistie Erwin, Ryan Weaks, Grady, Allie and Maddie Blankenship, Keelan, Bailey, Meila and Adley Splann; and twelve great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2020, Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
